About Are We Having Fun (AWHF Media) - Our initial students came to us with a need for a patient, flexible teacher who breaks the mould of old teaching habits (ahem, negative reinforcement).
This has led to a loving student base of students ranging from young learners, memory issues, alternative learning styles, relearning music as an adult, and people with busy schedules.
Every student lesson differs based on learning style and interests, and we incorporate traditional teaching methods with the student's desired choices in classical, pop, rock, jazz, blues, show tunes, or improv.
Our team is dedicated to making it work and making it fun.

Kaehla Maurer
Kaehla has formally studied, taught, and performed classical, jazz, new age, pop, improv, soul, rock, R&B/rap over the last 25 years. She actively arranges and composes her own music and engages in the live music as well. Along with teaching piano and voice, Kaehla received a B.S. in Health Sciences, Pre-Clinical and trained in health coaching post-college, allowing a unique, nurturing yet firm approach in identifying blocks to the learning process and breaking down those barriers to achieve individual success.
Whether you're a child discovering music for the first time, an adult picking up piano for the first time in years, or a retiree looking for an stimulating hobby, we would love to work with you!
